Fall Festival

Our Fall Festival will take place on October 27, 2007. this year. Reserve your Treasures Gallery Sale table now. We will be adding information to this section as it becomes available, so check back often!

We will also hold a silent auction. Check out how you can participate in this event.

Ways to Participate in the Fall Festival Treasures Gallery Sale

TOY SHOPPE

This year’s Toy Shoppe will be sponsored by the Children’s Choirs. They are requesting donations of gently used toys and games (no broken or missing parts, please). These will be sold at a price for children to buy. Parents and grandparents are welcome to shop also. Items that are not sold will be donated to DOM. Contact Sandy Stowe or Brenda Davis if you wish to donate toys or games for this project

PUZZLES AND GAMES SHOPPE

A new shop this year will feature puzzles and adult games (with no missing parts, please). Marcie Hughson will be in charge of collecting any used or new adult games and children’s and adult puzzles to sell in the Treasures Gallery Sale. There will be a box in Aldersgate and in the gym for you to place any donations that you have for this. Everything that is not sold will be donated to DOM

RE-GIFTING SHOPPE

This is a new shopping experience for our Treasures Gallery. This shop will sell any new items that have not been used. Church members are asked to donate any items that you have that you have NEVER USED. These will be sold at your requested price with all money going to the church mission program. Your items can be returned to you if they are not sold, or will be donated to either a mission agency or DOM. Contact Netta and Byron Rodenburg who are in charge of this area.

GRANNY’S ATTIC, COLLECTABLES, & ANTIQUES SHOPPE

This shop will feature all kinds of collectables and antiques, plus quality attic items. collectables, antiques, View further information about Granny’s Attic and how to donate collectables.

GARDEN SHOPPE

Ralph and Sandy Jones are making plans for this year’s Treasures Gallery Garden Shoppe. This area will sell birdhouses, birdfeeders, yard art, decorated flower pots and any other items that would be appropriate for a yard or garden. Church members are asked to donate items for this shop. You can set the price, but all money will go to the church mission program. Items that do not sell will be returned to you.

CRAFT AND NEEDLEWORK SHOPPE

Needlework of any kind will be accepted – sewing, quilting, knitting, crocheting, tatting, embroidery, etc. along with any kind of craft such as paintings, stained glass, ceramics, and woodwork. These items will be sold at your price, but all money will go to the church mission program. Items that do not sell will be returned to you. Barbara McGee and Charla Edwards are in charge of this part of the sale.

SWEET SHOPPE

The United Class and the Cup & Saucer Class will be in charge of this area. However, they need help from anyone in the church who is willing to provide baked items –cookies, pies, cakes, breads, etc. These items always sell quickly, so we need a lot of you to donate items for this sale.

BOOK SHOPPE

The Treasures Gallery Book Sale will be collecting used books to sell. Books that you want to donate can be brought to the New Horizons Classroom (near the north entrance of the Alexander Building). Lorri Jordan and Mary McBee are in charge of this shop.
