Long Range Plan

The plans prepared by the Long Range Planning Committee have now been turned over to the Building Committee. The Building Committee consists of chairman, Keith Austell and members: Jerry Bair, Billie Ballengee, Don Deffebach, Ray Dorton, Ron Golden, Dan Hoke, Ron Norman, Cathy Ogle, Norb Schulz, Bob Talbot, Jim Thrash and Jessica Trezza.

The first phase of this plan consists of the installation of a sight and sound system and the upgrading of the restrooms in Aldersgate Fellowship Hall. The plan is for Aldersgate to continue to be used as a fellowship hall as well as a center for a contemporary worship service.

The second part of Phase 1 will be to install gates on the north and south ends of Avenue C with a landscaped mall area accessible to fire trucks only.

Since drop offs for the preschool are on Avenue C, its closure will necessitate a new entry for the preschool children.

The Building Committee continues to deliberate on these plans using Building Bridges of Faith Building Campaign funds.
