Janet Dempsey

Youth Director

Janet Dempsey, our youth director effective October 1, 2005, is a native of Garland, Texas and has been the youth director for FUMC, Forney, Texas. She has been active in United Methodist ministries, North Texas Conference camps as a counselor for 6 years, and was an intern at FUMC Waco Wesley Foundation. She is a graduate of Baylor University majoring in child and family studies. She is outgoing with a quick smile, a self-starter, loves youth folk, an avid recruiter of adult mentors, and definitely feels called to lead youth in the way of Christ.
