Congregational Ministries

• Maintain events for senior members

• Conduct Family events and four “all-church” events

• Congregational Care with Upper Room devotional guides, brochures of special interest and outreach

• Support for families in time of grief.

• Utilize the phone tree for communication

• “Staff of Life” coordinating and motivating leaders

• Expand the “Welcome Center”

• More “Greeters” every Sunday

• Follow-up contact with visitors

Age-Level Ministries

• Reorganization of the Education department to emphasize spiritual growth

• Add preschool age children playgroups at church after school hours

• Add “Parent’s Night Out”

• Retreats – children’s, family, confirmation

• Teacher training

• Start-up College Age ministry to “keep in touch”

• VBS

• Publicity for short and long term studies

• Special speakers on designated topics

• Class to orientate new members

• Nursery operation

• Disciple Bible Study promotion

• Short-term studies promotion

• Enlist members for Emmaus Walk

Youth Ministries

• Sunday school

• UMYF

• Planning and leading retreats for spiritual growth

• Planning and leading youth mission trips

• Planning and conducting local mission work, i.e., “Sweat ‘n Swim”

• Monthly special worship opportunity

• College scholarship for 3 graduating high school seniors

Worship and Music

• Weekly worship music – Children, Youth, Adult and Bell – choirs

• Weekly worship bulletins

• Vocal ensembles

• Instrumental support on “high holy days” and special emphasis Sundays

• Audio and video tapes

• Special Emphasis Sundays

• Youth Choir tour promotion and planning

Missions

• Support designated missionaries

• Support Duncanville Outreach Ministries

• Mission Group apply funds grants to mission requests

• Mission Group designate Communion Rail offerings
